As a salesperson, I understand what it's like to ride the sales rollercoaster. The only sure thing about the ride is that there will be lots of peaks and valleys. Getting better at sales leads to fewer valleys and higher peaks.

Running a sales organization, I've had many sleepless nights figuring out how to attract, train, manage, and retain top sales talent. After reading all the books and going through many consultants, we have developed a proven methodology to find and keep the best salespeople.

Culture

We are a team of misfits who enjoy working together. The people here get to be themselves, and it's weird if you're not at least a little bit weird.

Executive Team

The Founder creates the vision, consults with the board of advisors, and cultivates key relationships.

The Chief Operations Officer, with their knowledge, experience, and expertise, builds the proper structure, frameworks, and systems necessary to bring in $1M in net profits every month. The primary source of their extensive experience is their experience working at a company which had a successful exit of over $100,000,000.

The Chief Financial Officer works with each department to attain bulletproof Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets. They also help the CEO by stepping into the "bad cop" role to hold leaders accountable for performance targets as necessary.

The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for two main objectives: First, track all of the marketing to ensure appropriate returns on time, investment, and efforts. Second, monitor the latest trends in marketing and apply appropriately.

The Chief Sales Officer drives sales inside and outside the organization. Having a world class sales organization, the CSO will have a key role inside the company. They provide proprietary training for the entire sales force, manage the Sales Director, and constantly look for ways to innovate our sales offerings.

The Media Director works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to produce the media content that will attract eyeballs to promote our offerings.

Core Business Activity

We help individual salespeople Close More Sales by improving the quality of their conversations. From the initial conversation to the scheduled appointment through a successful transaction, we share best practices on how to ensure a completed sale.

We do this by teaching the importance of setting appropriate expectations, deeply understanding the motivation of the prospect, eliminating objections before they come up, getting signed agreements, and preventing remorse prior to ending the sales appointment. Throughout the process, we place heavy emphasis on tonality, empathy, and validating the client so that they can build a sale based on trust.

We help business owners close more sales by sharing best practices for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, training, managing, and retaining top sales talent. Each of these facets of sales management can be challenging in their own right. By working with us, our clients excel in all facets of building their world class sales organization.

The difference between an ordinary company and an extraordinary company is their roster, and for far too long, too many organizations have been unwilling to embrace the challenge of building a superstar sales team. Our customers love us. What's not to love? Every client that works with us consistently increases their revenue. Headquarters

Based in Tempe, AZ, our headquarters is broken out into a few different sections. The section that will stand out the most will be our basketball court. It obviously doesn't belong in an office building. Our sales team is a competitive bunch though, since we intentionally recruit former student athletes for our sales company. Basketball will be a natural team building activity.

We have multiple studios to record content since our number one source of business is video content. Each studio has multiple sets to ensure we always have a fresh look.

We have a classroom setup that can comfortably accommodate 50 people for regular events and site visits. As we're training organizations around the world, the space accommodates clients who want to come in for more custom and personalized attention.

Sales & Marketing

Our number one channel for attracting clients is far and away our YouTube channel. We give all of our knowledge away and hold nothing back. Tens of thousands of people consume our videos every day on YouTube.

A close second behind YouTube are our podcasts. Between Close More Sales and Disruptors, the two shows generate more leads and opportunities than we want to fulfill. We care first and foremost about the experience of our customer. To ensure excellent service and a white glove experience, we intentionally limit the number of clients that we will work with.

Our website, CloseMoreSales.com, provides an incredible number of leads as well. We enlisted the services of the best in the industry to build one of the best lead capture sites in the country. We hired Neil Patel's firm to do our SEO, Donald Miller's Story Brand to design our website, and Frank Kern to write all of the copy. Because we repurpose the YouTube videos into blog articles, we rank very well on Google and all the other search engines.

Our book, Close More Sales became a #1 best seller in The New York Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal. We had so much success that we've licensed the Close More Sales rights to multiple industries including Solar, Auto, Home Services, Software and many more to publish different variations of our book.

Our free community has over 100,000 members in it with members constantly helping one another, and naturally the leaders in there have elevated to one of our education offerings.

We believe in world class talent, and to round out the rest of our media and marketing team, we have the best minds working on our Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and email campaigns to ensure we effectively get everybody back to our YouTube channel and website.

Finally, we spend a small portion of our marketing budget on paid advertising. The paid advertising leads to free resources that get people into our database. Between organic content and paid marketing, we will always be top of mind whenever somebody is thinking about how to increase their sales.

The most rewarding benefit for all of our hard efforts is that we receive a ton of free press. We are regularly sourced and highlighted by magazines like Forbes, Entrepreneur, Harvard Business Review, Economist, and Bloomberg.

We never thought that CNBC would call us asking for our opinions, and that definitely made mom proud!

Financials

This year was another record year. We brought in just shy of $50M in revenue. After expenses, we had over $10M in profits. And because we offer profit share in our company, we were able to pay over $1M in profit share back to our team. That was a dream come true for us!

Community Involvement

The areas we have impacted the most are the disenfranchised and underserved communities. The sad reality is that there's a sense of hopelessness and apathy in these communities. One of the worst things that can be done to a fellow human being is to have them believe that there is nothing they can do about their situation.

We show them that there is a way to change their lives and write a different ending to their current story, and with each success, we slowly and steadily improve the lives of so many. With each leader that we develop within a community, it's only a matter of time until they can make a dramatic difference, too.

We also have soft spots for troubled kids. We believe that the traditional school system is failing too many children. By forcing every kid to conform into an antiquated school system, we lose too many kids because they don't know that there is another way. They don't know that there are other paths to living successful, fulfilling lives outside of traditional schooling and higher education.

We teach these "troubled kids" valuable life skills like managing money, sales, leadership, and problem solving. Through those teachings, they don't become just another statistic. They become contributing citizens to society, and many are budding entrepreneurs.

Founder Feeling

Through Close More Sales, we have far surpassed our mission to create 100 millionaires. This is easily one of the most fulfilling achievements in my life.

Creating millionaires is so critically important to me because I believe we must promote Capitalism. My grandparents on both sides of my family were merchants in Fujian, China. When the plague of communism took over China, my family lost everything.

They fled to Vietnam to start over and rebuild everything from scratch. Through hard work and perseverance, they became successful merchants again. And once again, the plague of communism took over, and they lost everything a second time.

My parents fled Vietnam as Boat People on rickety boats. During that journey, hundreds of thousands of people perished in the open waters. Through sheer luck and good fortune, my parents were rescued by the Italian Navy and transported to a refugee camp in Trieste, Italy. That is how I came to be born in a refugee camp.

Twice over my family has borne witness to the misery that communism brings, and that's why I push so hard to promote capitalism. There's no better way to promote capitalism than to be an evangelist for business, entrepreneurship, and sales. By helping salespeople and business owners become wealthy, we create jobs and more advocates for capitalism.

At some point in my lifetime, "profit" became a bad word. Wealth is now often seen as a bad thing. We will change the narrative. We are on a mission to create armies of millionaires.

The success we've achieved would never have been possible without the tremendous support from our board of advisors. With the guidance and wisdom from the entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and executives that have done it before, we were able to build this company the right way.

Building a $100M company was not without its challenges. Fortunately, they were able to help me see around the corners for every potential pitfall and prepare each critical stage of growth.

Partners

At first I was nervous at the prospect of offering investors an opportunity to invest and buy into shares of my company. Although I've raised capital to purchase real estate over the years, I had never offered investors a stake into one of my companies. I'm incredibly grateful that I did.

Our investor partners share with me that this has been one of their best investments. They were incredibly impressed with the returns, but more importantly, they've enjoyed being a part of the ride. They had front row seats to watch an idea become a sustainable business model that became a juggernaut in the business world.
